At Snow Family Dentistry, patient health has always been our top priority. We are here to help you maintain your overall health and smile! In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have implemented additional safety measures to ensure the safety of our patients.
Health Screenings—everyone, including staff, continue to receive a health screening upon entering the building. This includes a temperature check and a questionnaire to confirm everyone is without symptoms and has not had a recent exposure to COVID-19.
Air Purifiers—We have equipped each treatment room with air purifiers that have a HEPA filter and UV light to clean and cycle the air in the room four times every hour.
Protective equipment—Those entering the office are also asked to wear a facemask while moving around the office. All dental providers continue to wear the appropriate protective gear such as gloves, masks, coats and eyewear. After each patient, all disposable wear items, such as gloves and masks, are discarded.
Surface Cleaning—Before any patient enters the exam room, all surfaces, such as the dental chair, dental light, instrument tray, drawer handles and countertops, are cleaned and decontaminated. Some equipment is covered with protective covers, which are replaced after each patient. Also, we have increased the cleaning of common areas in the office.
Clean Instruments—All non-disposable dental instruments are cleaned and sterilized between patients. Disposable items are NEVER reused.
Hand Washing—All of our team members will wash their hands before and after every patient interaction
We want you to know we are doing everything we can to provide the safest environment! If you are healthy, there’s no need to cancel your regularly scheduled dental appointment. If you are ill with flu-like symptoms, you can call our office at (480) 982-7289 to reschedule your appointment.
